Restoring Belivah Creek Project Community Tree Planting Event
April 22, 2018 –
20 Stubbin St,
Belivah , QLD 4207
Belivah Creek provides an important corridor linking the lowland sub-tropical rainforest (an endangered ecological community) along the Albert River to the dry rainforests of Bahrs Hill.
Restoring the public land surrounding the creek will not only improve this important ecological corridor but will also help increase significant habitat for threatened plants and wildlife.
We would like to invite you and your family and friends to come and celebrate the launch of the Restoring Belivah Creek Project on World Earth Day with a Community Tree Planting Event.
We will learn how to correctly plant the shrubs and trees that once grew in this area and enjoy a free sausage sizzle while hearing why this area is so important to restore and how you can help to continue the great work.
We will also be commencing restoration works in Areas 1 and 2 in the near future so keep an eye out for our dedicated workers in the area.
